I have a broad background in handling most every type of personal injury case from inception through trial.  I have tried cases both as a defense lawyer and as a plaintiffs lawyer.  For the first ten years of my career I defended personal injury lawsuits on behalf of insurance companies and corporations.  I hear many personal injury lawyers proudly say they have never represented insurance companies or corporations.  I wonder why that is a benefit to their clients.  I have sat in private conversations with insurance companies and corporations evaluating when to settle cases, how much to pay, and when to go to trial.  I know how they think.  Why would you not want that experience on your side?

In January of 2000, I fired all of my insurance company and corporate clients and began helping injured people.  You can review some of the results I have obtained for my clients over the years on this website.

In February of 2006, I founded Distasio Law Firm to combine my experience as a lawyer with providing the quality service that personal injury clients deserve.  I cannot promise you an outcome.  But what I can do is promise you that Distasio Law Firm will provide the experience and the service to get the best possible result.
